Draw a silhouette of your liking on the paper plate. I drew a toadstool and a hedgehog. Feel free to use the template I made, you can find it here.
Let children paint the remaining plate.
While the paint dries the kids can colour with crayons on a transparent paper. We always use baking paper because it's cheap and always available. Taping the sides of the paper can prevent it from curling.
Cut out a circle of the right size from the transparent paper and attach it together with a ribbon on the back. Our autumn suncatchers look really beautiful hanging in the window!
