It’s fall in the Netherlands and this means that mother nature is changing its colours. This week we went for a walk in the forest and collected a variety of autumn leaves. During midday it began to rain, so this was a perfect moment to bake autumn cookies together. We washed our leaves and let them dry. We made cookie dough and used our leaves as stamps. You can pick any cookie recipe you like, but one with gingerbread spices is my favourite! Store the cookies in a container and let the kids hand out the cookies. How cosy can rainy days be :-)
