Celebrating a kids birthday is incomplete without a birthday crown or party hat. You can make one yourself, but involving children is more fun!
With the clear instructions and the free template from learn create love my nanny kids created their own birthday crowns. The youngest children of the family I work for are fraternal twins, so that’s the reason we made two birthday crowns. I also made a mini crown for little monkey who goes to work with me every day. If you take a closer look, you can see a blue and pink bow on the crown. In this way monkey is representing both kids ;-)

I decided to make a number two of foam and attached it later that day on the crowns when the paint was dry.
On the big day not only the twins were throwing a party…. Monkey joined the celebrations too and he was lucky to get some of the Birthday cake as well :-)
Do you prefer to make a party hat with the children instead of a crown? Take a look at Minted. With their free printable and a few materials you will easily create your own hats! On the picture bellow you can see our creation with feathers on top.
Also this time we didn't forget Monkey of course ;-)
